Code Enforcement

Effective May 1, 2023, Village of Sag Harbor Code Enforcement will be assisting the Village of North Haven with the enforcement of the Village Code, pursuant to an Intermunicipal Agreement between the Village of North Haven and the Village of Sag Harbor.

Complaints should continue to be made to the Village of North Haven. The Village Clerk will keep record of residents' calls and the appropriate follow up. Should a violation or court appearance be required, the Court will now be the Sag Harbor Village Court. 

During normal business hours, call the staff at Village Hall 631-725-1378.
If an emergency situation occurs, dial 911.

Outside of normal business hours including weekends & holidays:

  • For non-emergencies (loud parties or inappropriate noise, etc.) call the non emergency number for the Southampton Town Police: 631-728-5000.
  • For non-emergencies related to boating issues or the waterways around North Haven, please call the Village of Sag Harbor Harbormaster at 631-725-2368.
